The Itinerary : 9 Days Rabat to the heart of Morocco

Arrive at Rabat international airport, where we will meet you and drive to your Hotel, depends on your arrival time, a visit can take place in the same day to the famous historical sites of Rabat “Kasbah Oudaya and Hassan tower” before you check in to your Hotel or Riad or can be done in the next morning. Overnight in Rabat

After breakfast we will visit Rabat’s historical monuments, Kasbah Oudaya and Hassan Towerand then we drive to the biggest city in Morocco, Casablanca city, the economical capital of Morocco, including a visit to Hassan the Second Mosque with its tallest minaret in the world. Continue our way to join the red city of Marrakesh. Overnight in a riad near Jamaa el fanaa square.

After breakfast you will be joined by a local guide who is going to take you in one of your lifetime experiences as you will visit the old Medina, Saadien Tombs, Bahia Palace, Majourelle Gardens and the famous El Fna Square where you can find storytellers and snakes charmers, monkey charmers, Henna Women, also other famous historical sites are to be visited along the visit. Overnight at the same Riad.

After breakfast depart to Dades via the high atlas mountains, crossing Tichka Pass, a road which goes in the middle of the High atlas and which stands in 2260m above sea level, we will stop to visit an argan oil women co-operative to see how people in the atlas prepare the Argan oil and have a cup of coffee, then continue our way to join Kasbah Telouat, a former house of the famous warlord EL Pasha Lglaoui, then we continue via the salt way to join the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987, we will visit the Kasbah then have lunch in a local restaurant. After that we continue to Dades crossing the city of Ouarzazate or Hollywood of Africa, a city famous for being the shooting site for famous movies “ Gladiator” “ The Mummy”.. then we pass by Skour palm grove, and Rose Valley in which we will stop for a woman co-operative for rose distillation, then we continue our road via Kalaa Magouna “ The Rose Capital” arrive to Dades. Overnight in Dades Gorges.

after breakfast depart to Merzouga via Todra Gorge, a very wonderful canyon with its high standing rocks 300m high, then we continue via the town of Tinjdad. Lunch in the road. Passing through the town of Erfoud very famous for its dates international festival and also for being a fossils town and the founding of very large dinosaurs skeletons such as Spinosaurus. Upon your arrival to Merzouga you will camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, you will attend the sunset in your way to the bivouac. Overnight at a nomad tented camp.

In order to attend one of the most beautiful sunrises, you will wake up earl and after having breakfast in the camp you will camel trek back to the edge of the dunes where we will pick you up, and start a journey that will take us toward the famous cultural capital of Morocco, the city of Fes, along the trip we will visit the ancient town of Rissani, the cradle of Alaouiste Dysnaty and also a very important market for the caravans, that’s why it is very well known for its herbs shops, then we will continue our road to Fes. Along the road we will come across barbarian atlas apes in the huge cedar forest, then passing through the beautiful city of Ifrane or Switzerland of Morocco as the Moroccan call it, because of its architecture and cleanness. Overnight in Fes.

After breakfast you will be joined by an official local guide, who will show you the city and its historical monuments “Fes El Bali the old medina”, “Al Qraouine University” “Jewish Quarter”…etc. Fes is the fourth largest city in Morocco and also used to serve as one of its former capitals during the reign ship of the Idrissis. You will enjoy walking its narrow streets and its huge ancient gates. The Medina of Fes, Fes el Bali is believed to be the largest car-free urban area in the world as the people of the Medina use only mules or small motorcycles to get merchandise inside the medina. Overnight at the same Riad

After breakfast we will hit the road to current capital of Morocco, we will pass by and visit the ancient roman ruins of Volubilis and then continue our way to join Meknes, a former capital of Morocco during Ismailien Dysnaty reign in which also have some very interesting monuments to visit such as Lahdim Square, Qara Prison, Moulay Ismail Tomb. Then we continue via the highway to join Rabat. Overnight in Rabat

This day will be the final day in Morocco and in which we will take you to the airport according to your flight time.
