The Itinerary : 9 Days Rabat and the Beautiful North

Arrive at Rabat international airport, where we will meet you and drive to your Hotel, depends on your arrival time, a visit can take place in the same day to the famous historical sites of Rabat “Kasbah Oudaya and Hassan tower” before you check in to your Hotel or Riad or can be done in the next morning. Overnight in Rabat

After breakfast, we will hit the road via Kenitra to join to the town of Moulay Boussalham with its beautiful lagoon and Merja Zerka Lake. After lunch we hit the road to join the town of Assilah. Overnight in Assilah

Assilah is a very beautiful town, has a friendly similar to the famous town of Essaouira, after breakfast you will visit the old medina of Assilah which a small and friendly town and its beautiful harbor, then we will pick you up and drive via an off-road to join the beautiful beach of Rmilat which is couple kilometers to the south of Assilah where you can have lunch (grilled fresh sardines) and also swim or enjoy the its beautiful sun. Afternoon we will drive back to Assilah. Overnight in Assilah.

After breakfast a journey will take us to the beautiful town of Chefchaouen, the Rif mountains strong hold and the most beautiful town in Morocco. Along the way you will enjoy some of the most beautiful landscape of the northern Morocco via the city of Tanger where we will visit the beautiful beach of Achakar and the famous Herculus Cave, then continue via the Rif mountains to the beautiful city of Tetouan. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

A visit to this beautiful town is a must, in order to discover the real beauty that this little town that hides inside the Rif Mountains has to offer such as Outa Hamam Square, it’s beautiful medina, Ras El Ma…!. Overnight in Chefchaouen.

After breakfast, we will depart to the famous city of Fes including a stop at the ancient roman ruins of Volubilis, one of the most remote former territory of the Roman Empire. Lunch at the sacred and holly town of Moulay Idris Zerhoun. Then we continue our way via the green landscape of the central Morocco, and stop for a panoramic view at Sidi Chahed Lake. Overnight in Fes.

After breakfast you will be joined by an official local guide, who will show you the city and its historical monuments “Fes El Bali the old medina”, “ Al Qraouine University” “Jewish Quarter”…etc. Fes is the fourth largest city in Morocco and also used to serve as one of its former capitals during the reign ship of the Idrissis. You will enjoy walking its narrow streets and its huge ancient gates. The Medina of Fes, Fes el Bali is believed to be the largest car-free urban area in the world as the people of the Medina use only mules or small motorcycles to get merchandise inside the medina. Overnight in Fes.

After breakfast we will hit the road to current capital of Morocco, we will pass by and visit the ancient roman ruins of Volubilis and then continue our way to join Meknes, a former capital of Morocco during Ismailien Dysnaty reign in which also have some very interesting monuments to visit such as Lahdim Square, Qara Prison, Moulay Ismail Tomb. Then we continue via the highway to join Rabat. Overnight in Rabat.

This day will be the final day in Morocco and in which we will take you to the airport according to your flight time.
