The Itinerary : 7 Days Marrakesh, Erg Chgaga, Gorges, Kasbahs :

Upon your arrival at Marrakesh Airport, you will be welcomed by a member of our team, and then you will be transferred to your accommodation.

After breakfast you will be joined by an official local guide to see all the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia Menaret; the Saadian tombs; the beautiful Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys -getting a chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square. In the afternoon you will have a chance to walk around the famous square by your own.

After breakfast a road trip is going to take you through some of Morocco’s beautiful landscapes, passing via the Atlas Mountains through the high *Tichka Pass*, in the middle of the road you will veer out to take a side way to visit the very beautiful Kasbah of Telouat, with its ruins that has a very long history to tell and then we continue our way via the salt way to join the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou which is a UNESCO World heritage site since 1987, and which serves as a replacement for Jerusalem in so many movies such as “Kingdom of Heaven”. Arriving to Ouarzazate or Hollywood of Africa as it is referred to because of its famous studios and also because of the movies that were filmed in it.

After breakfast, this journey will take us via the high atlas mountains, passing through the Tichka Pass which is 2260m above sea level and which is considered as one of Morocco’s amazing roads, then we continue our road to the city of Ouarzazate or Hollywood of Africa as it is referred to because of the famous movies that were filmed in it. As the landscape dramatically changes to a more desert-like, we continue our way to Erg Chgaga via the lost town of Zagoura, which used to be a must stop for the caravans coming from the sub-Saharan countries, then we continue to join Mhammid town the last civilization settlement in the edge of the desert before we arrive to Erg Chgaga.

After breakfast and refreshing up, our journey will take us through the road of One Thousand Kasbah and Skoura Palm grove and then we continue towards Kalaa Magouna or the Rose capital where an annual rose festival takes place, we will have an optional stop at a rose distillation unit for you to have a clear idea of how the people of the area turn dry rose into oil and cosmetic productions. We continue our way to join Dades.

After breakfast, we will depart toward the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, passing by the Rose valley in which we will stop at a Rose co-operative so that you will have a clear idea of how the Rose productions are locally produced, then we continue our way to join the 1987 UNESCO World heritage site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou which is also served as a replacement for Jerusalem in so many movies such as “Kingdom of Heaven”.

After breakfast we will depart to the red city of Marrakesh, passing by the famous Kasbah of Telouat, which ones was a house for the notoriously known Thami El Glaoui, the warlord of the Atlas Mountains, which from the look of it from the outside looks destroyed and ruined, but lavishly decorated from the inside which gives the visitor an idea of how the former warlord used to live.
