Upon your arrival in Fes International Airport, one of our team members will welcome you, and then transfer you to your accommodation.
Day 02 : Fes VisitAfter breakfast you will be joined by an official local guide, who will show you the city and its historical monuments “Fes El Bali the old medina”, “ Al Qraouine University” “Jewish Quarter”…etc. Fes is the fourth largest city in Morocco and also used to serve as one of its former capitals during the reign ship of the Idrissis. You will enjoy walking its narrow streets and its huge ancient gates. The Medina of Fes, Fes el Bali is believed to be the largest car-free urban area in the world as the people of the Medina use only mules or small motorcycles to get merchandise inside the medina.
Day 03 : Fes to MerzougaAfter breakfast, a journey will take us along the beautiful south road, where a dramatique change in landscapes from the snowy hills of Ifrane the cleanest city in Morocco to the Cedar Forest of the middle Atlas then the dry weather of the desert. Along the way we will stop to visit the Ifran’s Lion, then we will stop to visit the Atlas apes, we continue our way to join Awfouss Oasis, one of the largest oasis in north Africa. Upon your arrival to Merzouga you will camel trek crossing the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to spend a night of your lifetime under the clear sky and under the nomad tents in a camp in the middle of the desert.
Day 04 : Merzouga to Dades GorgesIn order to attend one of the most beautiful sunrises in the world you will have to wake up early to catch the sun rises up from behind a seas of sand dunes, then you will camel trek back to the hotel where you will shower and have breakfast. After refreshing up, we will depart to Dades Gorges, including a visit to Rissani’s famous souk, the town where the Alaouist dynasty started ruling Morocco since 350 years ago until the moment. Then we will pass though the town of Erfoud, very well known with fossils, also an international dates festival takes place in this town. We continue our way through a desert-like landscape and villages to join the wonderful Todra Gorges, a very beautiful canyons with 300m high walls and 20m wide mouth. We hit the road to Dades.
Day 05 : Dades Gorges to Kasbah Ait Ben HaddouAfter breakfast we will depart to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou via the Rose Valley including a stop at a rose distillation Unit in order to get a clear idea of how rose productions are manufactured, then continue by passing by the Skoura Palm grove and the road of 1001 Kasbah in which we will visit the historical Kasbah of Amridili, then we continue to join Hollywood of Africa, the city of Ouarzazate, very well known for being the spot of the international movie makers and in which famous movies were filmed such as “ The Mummy”,” Prince of Persia”, “Gladiator” and so many other movies, also you can visit the inside of the Atlas Corporation Studios to see the movies sets and get a clear explanation about all the movies that were filmed in it. Then we continue our way to the famous UNESCO World Heritage site Ksar or Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou.
Day 06 : Ait Ben Haddou to MarrakeshAfter breakfast we will visit the Kasbah of Ait ben Haddou, a very wonderful fortified city that stands in the edge of a hill separated by a running river . Then we drive via the atlas mountains to visit another Kasbah that hides inside the mountains, Kasbah Telouat, the house of the former warlord Pasha El Galoui, who used to control the region. Do not let its falling walls and ruined parts delude you as it is very lavishly decorated from the inside. We continue our way to join the principal way and pass via one of the Morocco amazing roads, the Tichka Pass that lies in 2260m above sea level. Then we will stop for a coffee and a visit to the Arga oil co-operative. After that we continue to join the red city.
Day 07 : Marrakesh VisitAfter breakfast you will be joined by an official local guide to see all the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian tombs; the beautiful Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys -getting a chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square. In the afternoon you will have a chance to walk around the famous square by your own.
Day 08 : Marrakesh to RabatAfter breakfast, we will drive north toward the current the capital of Morocco, the city of Rabat. We will pass through the second biggest city in north Africa and the economical capital of Morocco, the city of Casablanca Morocco’s beating heart where we will visit Hassan 2 mosque, one of the biggest mosques in the world and the only one that was built on water with its tallest minaret. Then we continue to join the city of Rabat where we will visit Oudaya Kasbah and Hassan Tower.
Day 09 : Rabat to Fes via Meknes, VolubilisAfter breakfast we will depart back to Fes, along the way we will visit the city of Meknes which was once a capital of Morocco and you will have the chance to visit its historical monuments such as “Bab Mansour”, “ Qara Prison”, “ Moulay Ismail the founder Tomb”, then we continue our way to visit the ancient roman ruins of Volubilis, one of the ancient roman empire’s remote territory. Night in Fes .
Day 10 : Fes Airport transferAfter having great time with us in Morocco, we will transfer you to the airport according to your flight time.
