The Itinerary : 7 Days Essaouira Marrakesh and the Sahara Camel Trekking

At 9 am you will meet our driver in your accommodation’s reception, and then depart to the famous red city of Marrakesh. Along the way we will visit an Argan Oil co-operative as the entire area of Chichawa is famous with. This only produced in Morocco Oil is used for cosmetics and eating as well. We continue our way via the national road, to join the city of Marrakesh in the early afternoon.

After breakfast you will be joined by a local guide who is going to take you in one of your lifetime experiences as you will visit the old Medina, Saadien Tombs, Bahia Palace, Majourelle Gardens and the famous El Fna Square where you can find storytellers and snakes charmers, monkey charmers, Henna Women, also other famous historical sites are to be visited along the visit

at 8 am you will meet our driver, then depart to Dades via Tizi n Tichka pass which is one of the most beautiful passes in Morocco and which is 2260m above sea level, then we drive to visit Kasbah Telouat the house of the former warlord Thami Glaoui, we continue our way to join the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO world heritage site and which stands in the middle of Ouad el Malh. We drive to the famous city of Ouarzazate or Holly Wood of Africa as some of the famous movies were filmed in it such as “Gladiator”, “The Mummy”, “Prince of Persia”…etc. Then we continue via Skoura Palm grove and the Rose Valley, in which we will pass through the city of Kalaa Magouna, very well known of rose farming and rose productions, we continue to Boumalne Dades.

after breakfast depart to Merzouga via Todra gorges, one of the beautiful rock canyons in the south east of Morocco. As hit the road to Merzouga the landscape will change dramatically to a more desert like landscape. Upon your arrival to Merzouga you will camel trek crossing the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, to spend the night in a nomad tented camp in the middle of the dunes.

In order to attend one of the most beautiful sunrises you will ever see in your life, you will have to wake up early, and then you will camel trek back to the hotel where you will have breakfast and shower. After refreshing up we will hit the road toward the lost town of Zagora via the ancient and historical town of Rissani, the town from where the current dynasty started to rule Morocco, a walk in its old souk will take you back in time as the herbs sellers long with antique sellers’ line inside it. Then we continue our way via Nkoub and Daraa valley, the caravans’ way. Daraa Valley is the longest valley in Morocco with its 7 million palm tree. Overnight in Zagora

After breakfast we depart toward the little Marrakesh, the city of Taroudant via the pass of Ait Sawn. Along the way we will pass through so many Berber villages that line next to the main road. Very different landscapes are to be enjoyed along the way as we visit the Carpets town of Taznakht, a Berber town which is very well known for carpets making and considered the main and the only source for handmade Berber carpets in Morocco. We then continue our way to join the Berber town of Taliouine or the Zaafran city, as it is considered the main source for the Moroccan Saafran. After lunch we will continue our journey via the landscape of the western Morocco that keep in changing from green to almost dry till we reach the city of Taroudant. Overnight in Taroudant.

After breakfast we will depart back toward to city of Essaouira, the pearl of the Atlantic via the famous city of Agadir, in which we will visit its beautiful Cornish and also visit the panoramic view of Agadir N Oufala or the High Agadir, and then we continue our road to join Essaouira. Drop off at your accommodation.
